Teri Erickson Smith

Teri Erickson Smith leads as an executive for Microsoft in their Federal Division. In her 27-year career in IT, Teri has led many organizations to success. She also serves as a mentor at UNCW in Wilmington, NC. In 2023, Teri also established WAVES, a Women’s Mentoring Group for local business leaders. Together with her husband Calvin, she leads a ministry for college kids at her local church. For three years, Calvin and Teri have been supporting local middle school children in need with needed resources to sustain their families and keep them focused on their education. This effort was the beginning of Bright Path. Connecting children in need with a generous community of support is the primary goal. With the support of the good people on the Board, this team is working to lead these children to a better life. Teri and Calvin have a dream that their children and grandchildren will carry this mission forward for many years.
